The Broil Element is an OEM component for Whirlpool wall ovens and ranges. Located at the top of the oven cavity, the broil element is responsible for providing intense heat from above for searing and browning foods. The element measures approximately 12" wide x 19" long.

Symptoms of a bad broil element include:

  • The broil function not working or heating very little
  • Oven takes a long time to preheat

Over many uses, the coil filaments within the broil element can weaken and break from prolonged exposure to high heat. Cracks and breaks in the coil will diminish the element's ability to efficiently produce quality broiling results.

This genuine Whirlpool OEM replacement part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
