Doug April 20, 2014 for Model Number GEGLD 566ON10SS GE Dishwasher When pressing start, the unit fills with water, but motor will not start, just buzzes. You can take a pencil and start motor spinning and it will run until, it has to stop and go to a rinse cycle, then it will not start again until i flip it with pencil. If we open door and close it the same thing happens. I TOOK OUT THE CAPICATOR, BUT CANNOT FIND A REPLACEMENT LOCALLY. 1 Answer Hi Gene. The answer is no, the pump will not be energized from the capacitor. We will need your serial # to get you the correct control board part # since there are 3 of them. If the serial # first 2 letters stare or are below # 10...... then the board is part # 99003162. If it starts w/ # 11....... it is part # [99003162]. If it starts w/ 19....... then it is part # 12002711. Finally if it is # 29............ it is part # 12002711.
