Marva April 28, 2015 for Model Number MEW6630BAW My oven has gone crazy - it is indicating F2 can you say what fault that represents?
1 Answer Hello Marva. The F2 error code on this model of range indicates that the electronic oven control board detected an over temperature condition in the oven. If the oven actually overheated, then you could have a welded contact on the electronic oven control board. If the oven did not overheat, then you could have a bad oven temp probe or a wiring issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
