1 Answer Hello Steve. Test the elements and see if they are good. Should read closed for continuity. If so, and the control is not sending power to the unit, you will need to replace the control board WP71001872. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Chuck August 15, 2011 for Model Number Jenn-Air W27300 I have a Jenn-Air W27300 wall oven. The display as stopped working and I’m unable to shut off the upper oven by using the cancel off button. In order to shut the oven off I have to enter 00 for the temperature and then the oven will shut down. The lower over works fine and all control buttons for the lower oven work. As I said at the beginning the display does not work so I can’t see the temperature or the time or anything else on the display. I have found an electronic clock/oven control part #AP4090010. My question is: Is this the part I should be looking for to correct the problem, or should I be looking at this being a switch membrane problem?
1 Answer Hello Chuck. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you have two problems, and you will need to replace the clock WP71001872, and the membrane 71001983.
