Rick, You will want to check to make sure that the main control board is getting power to it. IF the control board is getting power but the user interface is not coming on then the control board or wiring between the main board and user interface would be the issue.

Mamablalock for Model Number GEW9200LW0

I had a repairman to come out and look at my washer and he wanted around $300 to fix my machine! My washer User Interface is still good so there is no reason to replace it at this time. All I need is Control Button and Start Button. Mine had became brittle and finally broke so now I have to use a pencil eraser to be able to reach in there to turn it on and start it. I only need 2 very small plastic buttons and your repair video to completely restore my washer! Do you have Any idea where these buttons may be purchased? Thanks for your time and consideration.

Mama Blalock, Unfortunately the buttons cannot be purchased separately as they are part of the housing that comes with the user interface. The part number for the user interface is WP8182056.

Hello Mike, This is really hard to say without even knowing the configuration but from experience, if you get a flicker from moving a harness, either the connection or the board is going to be at least part of the issue. If you could please re-post with the model number from the units' I.D. tag, we will look at the wiring configuration and make our best diagnosis. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
