1 Answer Doug, It's not a very difficult repair to make. First you need to remove power to the washer, or unplug the power cord from the outlet. You have to get to the back of the washer to remove the top panel "Removing the Washer Top Three screws secure the washer top at the back of the washer. Remove the three screws and lift the top from the washer. Once the top has been removed, the CCU should be located on the cabinet rear top flange, it is a snap on type assembly "The Central Control Unit is a single assembly and does not contain any serviceable parts. It can be removed by lifting the top plastic tabs securing it to the back cabinet frame and sliding it towards the front of the washer. Reverse the procedure and test the machine for operation. Michael March 12, 2014 for Model Number 110.45862400 I entered the part description data on your website and the Main Control Board, MPN 8182687 was returned. It looks a lot like the module in my unit, however the numbers on the sticker on top are different. Mine says "e|: 20691 | Etk 6160 [2] | 858070897000" after that, there is a space and another bracket of numbers: "310444201" and three larger-font ones: "592". Could this be the same part, from a different OEM? On another sticker, to the left of the one described above, the following data appear: "BITRON Grugliasco Italy 2, Type 10254, Rev 04, 04/43" Below that, it says "120V ~ /50-60Hz T60", then below that: "4619 70221251 01 1460182". Is the 8182687 indeed the correct board for my machine, or should I seek another?

Sharon January 15, 2014 for Model Number kenmore elite quiet pak 2 model # 11045862401 My washer was not draining water out completely, code displayed F06. Pump was replaced, worked well for 3 loads then began to exhibit same code. I am told I now need a relay on the control board (computer for washer)? What does this part cost, and can it be installed without using a repair man?

Verify the shipping system including shipping bolts, spacers and cables are removed. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 5. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. 6. Check the drive motor for powered rotations. Read More...
