1 Answer Nick, with the power cord unplugged, you will want to remove the screws at the back, that hold the top panel in place, Once they are removed, the top will be able to slide back and then lift up. With the top panel removed, the dispenser drawer would need to removed as well. Once the dispenser drawer is removed, there will be a screw in the front panel where the dispenser drawer was that will need to be removed. With this done, there will be two tabs behind the front panel that will need to be disengaged to allow for the console to be rotated forward and out. This will give the access necessary to be able to change the control board WP8182785. Read More...

Lori January 30, 2017 for Model Number GHW9150PW0 My washer starts out washing fine then gives me a F2 code according to my manual that means drainage problem, I cleaned my drain hose and checked all my drain pipes they are all clean. could there be something in the drain pump that is messing up the flow of the water draining just enough to throw a code. It sounds like it is draining like normal or can that code mean something else. Some times it will complete a cycle with no error code.
1 Answer Lori, The error F2 code could be due to a build up of lint or debris inside the drain pump or drain pump filter. you'll want to unplug the power cord, remove the lower access panel and remove the filter cap and check it. there will be water spillage so have a bowl, towel or mop handy. The secondary cause would be the water level switch not, or slowly resetting to the empty position. You'd need to remove the top panel, disconnect the air tube from the water level switch, and blow into the end of the tube, if there is sediment or debris in the air tube, blowing on the hose will usually clear it out. Vernetta November 21, 2015 for Model Number GHW9150PW0 The washer will not engage the lock to begin cycle. When the start button is pushed is just gives a clicking sound a few times then beeps and displays Fdl. It has occasionally done this and started to work normally again. This time it won't begin working. I have replaced the door latch and it didn't help. I have seen where I should check the wiring but I'm not sure how to do this. What else could it be?
1 Answer Vernetta, To check the wires you will need to access the control board of the unit and the door lock. You will also need the wiring diagram because you will want to check the continuity of the wires between the lock and control board. If the wires check ok then the control board will be the issue and will need to be replaced. Read More...
