Lori for Model Number GHW9150PW0 My washer starts out washing fine then gives me a F2 code according to my manual that means drainage problem, I cleaned my drain hose and checked all my drain pipes they are all clean. could there be something in the drain pump that is messing up the flow of the water draining just enough to throw a code. It sounds like it is draining like normal or can that code mean something else. Some times it will complete a cycle with no error code.
Answer Lori, The error F2 code could be due to a build up of lint or debris inside the drain pump or drain pump filter. you'll want to unplug the power cord, remove the lower access panel and remove the filter cap and check it. there will be water spillage so have a bowl, towel or mop handy. The secondary cause would be the water level switch not, or slowly resetting to the empty position. You'd need to remove the top panel, disconnect the air tube from the water level switch, and blow into the end of the tube, if there is sediment or debris in the air tube, blowing on the hose will usually clear it out.
