Xer, it would be recommended that the keypad WP67005416 ribbon and the control WPW10207861 are inspected for any signs of damage. If there does not appear to be any damage, the most likely failure would be the keypad. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

Hello John, The power control board is the most likely cause of the lack of power to the display board. I'm sorry but this part WP12782036SP has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Found instructions below. My code is 1410 so would that be 14 on freezer and 10 on refrigerator or 14 on Fridge and 10 on Refrigerator side? 1. Open the Fresh Food door and press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad Door Alarm . 2. Press and hold Freezer Temperature Down Keypad . 3. Release the Door Alarm Keypad Door Alarm and wait 3 seconds. 4. The control will display PE to indicate the programming mode. 5. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad once more. 6. The control will display the current Program CODE. This value should be validated with the Program CODE printed on the unit serial plate. PE0 Fast Ice Reset Filter Vacation Mode Temp Alert Door Alarm Max Cool Freezer Order Replace Refrigerator 000 NOTE: If the Program CODE is correct, the Programming Mode is exited by closing the Refrigerator door(s). 7. Press the Refrigerator Temperature UP Keypad or Refrigerator Down Keypad to change the digit value with each key press. 8. The decimal point indicates the selected digit. Press the Freezer Temperature UP Keypad to select the next digit. 9. Once the desired Program CODE is entered, press and hold the Freezer Temperature DOWN Keypad until the Program CODE begins flashing indicating it has been saved. NOTE: If you attempt to enter an invalid Program CODE the control will not save the new code, but will beep. Bob for Model Number KBFA20ERSS

just replaced front electronic control board after freezer ice buildup and freezer temp "diving" below setting to -10F degrees (Refrig temp was OK). Now after 2 days refrig temp seems stable BUT freezer temp now going in opposite direction rising above setting to +20F degrees with no apparent frost buildup yet. Any thoughts as to added parts needed or if bad new front control board please? Frig is 15+ yrs old and not sure if I should put significant additional repair $s into it. Thanks for feedback.

Bob, it would be recommended that the freezer thermistor 12002355 is tested for resistance. At 36°F, the sensor should measure 29,500O and it should measure 10,000O at 77°F. If the sensor tests properly, the failure would likely be a failed main control WP12782036SP. Unfortunately, the main control has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Jared, You will want to get your tech sheet out and make sure that you program the unit. The code is on the model tag to code it with. If this cannot be done then the issue will be a faulty control board.

Hello Richard, the main control board is the rear board by the compressor, if replaced it will need to be coded with the code number listed on the model/serial tag. If you are referring to the front control board it does not need to be coded. Your model ref came with a technical data/test sheet with all program and test information, it is located either under the left ref door top hinge cover or under /behind the front grill.

Paul, Did you reset the filter status system properly ? " • Press and hold both the Lock and Water buttons simultaneously for four seconds. The green filter status indicator light will flash three times when the function has successfully reset.", if so, then the dispenser control board [ 67005399] BOARD, CONTROL is the issue. Water dripping from the dispenser spout can/will occur when the filter is replaced or work to the water supply line(s) is performed. If you dispense 3 or 4 quarts of water through the water dispenser it will usually solve the issue, unless you have low water pressure o the refrigerator.
