Hello Phil, The F5 E1 fault code is the code indicating the Self-clean latch will not lock/unlock. The tech sheet states the following on this issue: 1. Check the latch assembly: latch arm pivot joint, arm/motor connection, plunger and hook springs. 2. Check the Latch Motor: - Check for firm electrical connections. - Disconnect the two wires from the motor and measure the resistance of the motor. The resistance should be approx. 2450O. If the motor is open (8O) or shorted (0O), it should be replaced. 3. Check the Latch Switch. Disconnect it and use a continuity tester: - Door latched = switch closed, continuity should read 0O. - Door unlatched = switch open, continuity should read 8O. 4. Check Door Open/Closed Switch. Disconnect it and use a continuity tester: - Door open = switch open, continuity should read 8O. - Door closed = switch closed, continuity should read 0O. 5. Check Sister Board. - Check connections, latch motor – sister board. - Replace sister board. 6. Check power and element connections. 7. Replace control.

Hello Jim, Since this is not a valid code on the tech sheet for the appliance, the issue is going to be the control board 4452242. Since the board is no longer available, you will need to contact corecentricsolutions.com and make sure they support this board. If they do, you will have to send it to them for repair. You should take several pictures of the wiring to the board from different angles/directions so you will not have issues re-connecting it when it is returned to you.

Johnindallas, The F2 EO error code represents a key that has been held down too long or a key is shorted. Check the keypad connector for firm connections. Press cancel. If error code returns after 60 seconds then replace the keypad. If not then replace the control board.

Chad for Model Number RBD305PDS15

We have a Whirlpool oven model RBD305PDS15. The oven has shown a PF message on the display for the past few weeks which we could reset and the oven work. Now there is no display and it only beeps when you press the keypad. I've checked only and it seems that I need an oven control board. I've seen several different parts numbers and don't know know which one to order. I've seen 8302319, W10406070, and W10438751. Which one should I be looking for? Thanks.

Chad, Before ordering the control board you will want to check the transformer first. On the control board you will want to check the P16 connector from pin 5 to7 for 120 vac going into the transformer WP9760587. If there is 120 vac then check same connector pin 2 to 3 to see if there is 12 vdc coming out. If not then the transformer is bad and would need to be replaced. If there is then the control board WPW10438751 is faulty. If there is not 120 vac going to the transformer then the control board is faulty.

Tom for Model Number Whirlpool Oven RBD306PDB14

I have a Whirlpool Wall Double Oven RBD306PDB14. The display of my oven stopped working (blank) few days ago, but the oven lights come on and some of the control buttons make beeps when pushed such as the Bake, Hr, Min, Temp ... buttons. The Start button does not beep when it is pressed. How do I know if I need to have the Control board replaced or some thing else? I also checked the thermal fuse (part # 4456654) and it has continuity. Is there any thing else that I should check? If I need the Control Board for this oven, what would be the correct part number for it? Thanks

Hello Patrick. Remove the side trim pieces and then remove the 2 screws on the bottom corners of the control panel. Lift it upward and off of the unit to remove it.
