Jeff F September 29, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PDQ14 The clock and temperature display are very dim. Ovens operate normally, just very difficult to see and read display. Is this the control board?
Sunny H September 26, 2014 for Model Number GBD307PDQ10 I have a whirlpool double oven (Model: GBD307PDQ10). The control panel display was getting dimmer for the past six months. Eventually the control panel display died altogether and no digits are displayed any longer. Once the control panel display died, The oven also stopped functioning. There is still power getting to the oven in that the internal oven lights turn on but if you try to turn on the oven it beeps once takes a pause and then beeps four or five other times (I don't remember whether it's four or five). If I turn off power to the oven (turn off the house breaker) and then turn it back on, the oven works for about 10 seconds and then beeps once followed by four or five other beeps and does not work thereafter. Any ideas on what the fix is?
1 Answer Sunny, You will want to access the control board and check for 120 vac between the P16 pin 5 and 7 connector and check for 12 to 24 vdc on the P16 pin 2 to 3 connector. This will measure voltage into the control transformer and out. It sounds like this would be the issue. If there is 120 vac coming from pins 5 to 7 but nothing on 2 to 3 then the transformer needs to be replaced. The part number of the transformer is WP9760587. If the voltages check ok then the issue would be the control board WPW10438751. Read More...
Dave K. September 20, 2014 for Model Number RBD245PDQ14 Code F2 E6 is showing. If the keypad is the issue, is it available separately or as part of the control board assembly?
1 Answer Hello Dave, F2 E6 indicates the CANCEL key drive line is open. 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection. 2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 sec., replace keypad. 3. Replace control. The keypad WP8300428 and the control board WPW10438751 are two separate parts. Read More...
Andrew September 02, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PDQ14 My whirlpool double oven RBD305PDQ14 is providing an E6 F2 error code. Periodically the display will fade in and out and at times the display will be completely blank. Cycling the breaker will cause the display to reappear. For what it's worth, the first time I cycled the breaker the PF was displayed and the last two times the PF was not displayed.
1 Answer Hello Andrew, This fault code indicates that the CANCEL key drive line is open. 1.Check keypad connector for firm connection. 2.Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace the keypad WP8300436. 3. If problem persists, replace control WPW10438751. Read More...
Jill August 06, 2014 for Model Number Whirlpool RBD305PDB15 Ovens would not turn on, control panel is blank, oven just beeps when I try to turn it on but nothing comes up on display. There is power because the inside lights come on when you open the door. I had my electrician test the outlet and the panel and the voltage is OK. I'm thinking its the control board but noticed there are two of them for this model? Any ideas?
1 Answer Hello Jill, If the thermal fuse WP9759243 opens, this could be the issue. Also, if voltage is getting to the low voltage transformer WP9760587 and not to the board, the low voltage transformer is defective. If no voltage is getting to anything on the unit, check the voltage coming out of the noise filter assembly WP8302143. Read More...

Debbie July 22, 2014 for Model Number GBD307PDB7 The oven beeps, control panel goes blank and now the display shows E6 F2. What should I troubleshoot? What possibly needs replacement? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Debbie, The fault code E6 F2 indicates a problem with the cancel key circuit. You will need to open the unit and verify a good electrical connection to the control from the keypad. If good, press cancel. If the code returns within 60 seconds, replace the keypad WP8300440. If this does not correct the issue, the control 8302967 will require replacement. I know this sounds like shot-gunning the circuit but this is how the manufacturer says to approach the issue on the units' tech sheet. Also, since the control is no longer available with no satisfactory substitutions listed, you should contact Corecentric Solutions (866-737-2244) or corecentricsolutions.com to see if they support this board (8300440). Ann May 25, 2014 for Model Number rbd245pdq15 Oven clock doesn't light up. Lights come on when the door is open. When I hit start, the oven just beeps and nothing else happens. What could be wrong?
1 Answer Hello Ann, First you should check for 240Vac at the wall outlet/terminal block. If it isn't there, turn the breaker off and back on and re-test in case half of the breaker was tripped. If the voltage is there, check the low voltage transformer WP9760587. Read More...
Laurie April 08, 2014 for Model Number RBD275PD86 Double oven wall unit will no longer go into self cleaning mode. Local appliance man said I need to replace main control board or have it rebuilt. The rebuild may take 6 weeks, what do you suggest and what part would I get if I need to purchase new one Thanks
1 Answer Laurie, Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the control board for your unit which is part number 4452242. The only way to get this repaired would be to have the part sent off to be repaired. Read More...
