Hello Robert, To remove the icemaker you will remove the access door in front of icemaker first. You would then remove the 1/4" hex screw that is on the bottom right of the icemaker. Once screw is removed then lift the wire cover out from the back of the icemaker from where you just removed the screws. Push in on flapper and pull icemaker out and disconnect.

Hello Jeanie. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Wally. It sounds like it is leaking from the coating being gone. You will need to replace the icemaker 2198597 in the unit.

Paul for Model Number Kenmore model 106.58902802

We purchased a replacement icemaker from you and it did not make ice for the first 36 hours after installation, then it made 1 tray of ice. Twenty four hours later it made 1 tray of ice about 2 weeks ago. It filled with water and froze but has not dumped since. The light to the right of the door blinks 2 short blinks, pauses, then blinks 2 short blinks. When I hold down the flapper, it continues to blink 2 short blinks with a pause, then 2 more short blinks (there is no change in in the operation whether the flapper is held down or released) I thought possibly the new icemaker was defective, but before I replace it again, I need your technical advice in case there is another problem.

Hello Jason, I would first check the temperature in the freezer compartment. If it doesn't drop below 20 degrees it cannot cycle. The cycling thermostat could have caused this failure if the temperature is sufficient.

Alex, the ice mold is part number WPW10122523 and the inlet valve is part number 2175056. The replacement parts are 220v replacements. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship outside of the US and will need a US physical address to ship parts to. Thanks.

Hello Willie, This sounds like either low water pressure or the water inlet valve has failed. I would normally list the part number right here, but the model number is nowhere near a valid model number. You will need to re-post or call in for one of our representatives to look it up for you.
