Hi Joe. Lay a towel on the top of the dryer. To protect the console part # 33002896. Ground your hands out on the bare metal a few times to remove all body static. Then use a 1/4" nut driver or a T-20 size (or T-15 size) screwdriver tip to remove the console back assy. Mark the wires before disconnecting them and use a cell phone to take a picture to insure the correct rewiring the control panel. Use the supplied wiring diagram/tech. sheet. Look inside the inner back console corners to remove mount screws there if needed. Use your hand on the front left side and push the entire console to the right approx. 3/4" and lift up. Then remove the wire connectors. Then place the console face down on the top of the unit. Place the new console by the old one and transfer the inner control assy. onto the new console. Reverse installation for assy. Thank You.

Hello Tonia. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel 33002896 is bad and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure the cable is seated properly. If so, replace the control panel. Hope this helps.
