Tonia for Model Number MDE6800AYW My MDE6800AYW electric dryer has been plagued by the random chirping and control panel intermittently not responding. Initial research indicated it could be the control board. So, we replaced the board. That worked for about a week. Now we're back to square one. Some reports indicate that in lieu of the board, it could be the console. Before we drop another $150 on repairing the thing, we'd appreciate any advice or guidance.
Answer Hello Tonia. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel 33002896 is bad and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure the cable is seated properly.
