Jonathan M. April 16, 2012 for Model Number JDB8910AWB My Jenn Air dishwasher stopped at the 66 minute mark and will not drain. Pressing the drain button causes a 2 to appear and then cyclical clicking from the control panel but no draining occurs. I think it is the power control board and have ordered a replacement. How hard is it to replace the power control board? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jonathan, The control replacement is not hard at all. The most important thing to remember is to turn off the power. After you remove the door liner, the rest is really simple. If you're worried about crossing wires, simply remove them one at a time and put them onto the new board before removing the next wire. I do recommend wearing gloves as you will get cut the worst when your not expecting it. Some of the edges are really sharp inside the unit. Read More...
Christopher February 19, 2012 for Model Number JDB8910AWB I have a Jenn Air Quiet Series II Dishwasher, Model # JDB8910AWB. When I press the normal cycle the display flickers and nothing happens. When I press Rinse, it works fine. I did some research and it appears to be the control panel that needs to be replaced. I am ready to order, but you have several listed, 2, 2a, 2b...not sure which one to get, I can't see anything different about them listed in your catalog.
1 Answer Christopher, there is a series change within your model that effects the control panel. We will need your appliance serial number to help determine the correct part used on your appliance. Please obtain this information and reply back for further assistance. Thanks! Read More...
Jgd April 18, 2011 for Model Number JDB8910AWW dishwasher JENN-AIR The part # that it refers to (AP4113561) is a 13 buttons but my washer is a 12 buttons. The board is not disassembled yet.
1 Answer Hello! The manufacture has replaced the original 13 and 12 button control assemblies to a 13 button control assembly WP99002827. You can use this with your model. You will have an extra button that will be covered by the original control panel. Thanks. Read More...
Jose B. April 14, 2011 for Model Number jenn-air d/w jdb8910awq How can I tell if the control assembly is bad or is it the latch assembly. I have power from the wall socket to the d/w but no power at the control panel (no lights, or start up noises)
1 Answer Hello Jose. You will need to test and see if you have power at the control board. Check across the black wire to ground. If so, then the board is bad. If there is no power at the board, you will need to test the door switch. Hope this helps. Read More...
