Even having someone else hold the shaft still with a flat head screwdriver on the bottom screw. Nothin'. I sliced a groove in the old couple thinking I would have better purchase with the screwdriver/hammer to knock it off. Nope. Can the old coupler be cut off? Any suggestions? Thanks.
