Goldie August 17, 2014 I just need the bottom rack for dishwasher model DWU9200BAB because some of the rack bottom tines have become rusted and the rust gets on my dishes. Can I use the wheels and tines I now have on this part or do I need to order new wheels, etc. Please let me know exactly what parts I need to order in order to replace the bottom rack on this dishwasher. Thank you. Goldie
1 Answer Hello Goldie! The old tines and wheels might not be compatible with your model number. The manufacturer has discontinued the tines but you can get the rollers WP903093 and tine clips 99001746. Thanks! Read More...

Patricia G. February 14, 2014 for Model Number DWU8891 I see that you carry the lower rack replacement for my Maytag Dishwasher (very bad picture), and keep reading that it comes without tie wheels or tines. How can you sell a product that is supposed to hold dishes when they are apparently not included in the rack? When we purchased the dishwasher both racks came with tines, and not self-installed ones. If I am understanding correctly, this seems extremely odd, in lieu of the already high price for the lower rack. Please explain if i am reading this right? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Patricia, We do not manufacture, package, or price these parts. This is done by the manufacturers of the appliances. We are simply a parts retailer. When all of the parts are not included, this is because of how the manufacturer decided to allow the parts to be made available for resale. We do cut the prices down as low as we can without going below our cost. This is how we have prices lower than most parts retailers. Read More...
Diane K. February 09, 2013 for Model Number DWU8240AAX I too have ordered & received a replacement lower shelf for our dishwasher. It also came with these two tines & NO DIRECTIONS. From reading your customer questions, others have had to order this clip (#99001436) which I have ordered & received. My husband cannot figure out how to attach the tines with this clip. Do I need to order another clip? But where does it go? Please send a picture diagram to attach the clip! Diane
1 Answer Diane, You will need two(2) tine clips [99001436] to install the tines. Using the parts diagram as a reference, The curved palstic side of the clip will face away from the tines. you'll align the clip in the bottom of the rack, slightly to the right of the bottom wrungs and slide the clip to the left until the clip on the bottom right end of the clip snaps and locks around the wrung. The clip on the bottom left is an open clip (like a fork) and will move into position and encircle the wrung when you slide the clip into the proper position. Then you can snap the tines in position on the upper clips of the tine clip. These are delicate components, and you need to be careful installing them. Read More...
Valaer G. February 15, 2012 I have received dishrack (whirlpool) WPL 99002572 with tines and clips 99001436 and have read all the quesions and answers here but still have no idea how to place tines. Would you please send some sort of picture for me to go by? I have been struggling with this for a month now!
1 Answer Valaer, after further research and speaking with the manufacturer directly it seems that the rack WP99002572 is the racked used on your appliance however, the tines and clips for this rack are no longer available. The tines and clips sent with the rack were mispackaged from the manufacturer and will not work on this rack. We have further researched other rack tines and clips and have found that none are available for this particular rack. Sorry about that! Read More...
