1 Answer Hello Johnny, unfortunately the springs for your older model are no longer available. The part # for the springs were 12001228 prior to the manufacturer discontinuing them. The kit actually was made up of only two springs, but they were a heavier tension. Originally that 3rd spring was for when a customer installed a wooden panel, which made the door heavier, it was more of a counter balance spring. The door shouldn't be dropping like a rock even with only 2 springs. Have you looked real close to see if maybe something is wrong with one of the hinges? It fits in a small metal angle bracket on one end and a plastic connector on the other. I need the metal bracket and the spring, but cannot identify them on a parts list. Can you help?
