Charles January 07, 2013 Thank you for your answer regarding my upper and lower elements. I checked the voltage going to the board where the other ends of the element wires were connected and I didn't get a reading on my meter (no power). The negative and positive wires that loops back into the connectors which is mounted on the four prong terminals registered a meter reading of 250v. These looped wires were in the same wiring harness as the element wires. What is my next step in fixing my stove?
1 Answer Hello Charles. Based on the information you provided, the control is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Charles January 06, 2013 I recently replaced my bottom element. Prior to replacing that element the broiler was working fine. Since changing the bottom element neither the top nor bottom elements are working. I double check the connections and it appears to be correct. What do I need to do to in order to get my working properly?
1 Answer Hello Charles. You need to check and make sure there is 240 volts coming to the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
