Grace August 01, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool Model RJE375ONO Bumped foil against bake element and it started a little fire, which went out immediately, but now element won't heat well. (Takes 2 hours to get up to temp). I assume it shorted out the element??? This is an old, otherwise perfect shape, Whirlpool self cleaning oven,(1982), Model number RJE375ONO. Which element would be correct to buy? Thank you!

1 Answer Hello Jim. Disconnect the power and remove the oven racks and door. Remove the screws securing the element and bracket inside the oven. Pull out the element and remove the wires from it. Reinstall with the new element WPW10207397. in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
