Bill, If you look at appliancepartspros.com and put in part number WP3384593 it will show a photo of this filter. Girl In The Garden for Model Number whirlpool du900pwkq0 fl201008

double dw problem - the last rinse doesn't drain out, if reset manually, it does drain. occurred rarely, now about 1/2-3/4 of the time. very fine food particles are deposited on the inside of glasses and especially upper rightt door, and in small pull-out box on upper left door, and on the door gasket. i load it carefully so as not to block water flow and remove the worst of the food substances. a greasy residue is deposited on the bottom inner edge of the door, and on the adjacent bottom inner dishwasher. i wipe out all of the above goo after each use, cleaning the thing that's supposed to clean things. it's not cleaning as well as it used to, lipstick marks remain on glasses even though i made the water hotter. i use cascade. what's next?

Girl in the Garden, First thing, disconnect the drain hose from the drain pipe or disposal(under the sink) Fill the dishwasher and drain it into a bucket 2 or 3 times, this should flush any debris in the hose and you'll be able to tell if there's an issue in the pump, depending on the water flow out of the hose. fill a measuring cup with hot water from the kitchen sink, check the water temperature, it needs to be a minimum of 120 dgrs.F. and a maximum of 140 dgrs. F. and make sure you're using the proper amount of detergent and rinse aid. If alls OK, you may want to run the dishwasher through a cycle with " Glisten " or "Affresh" W10549845 to reduce or remove any chemical build up on the interior of the dishwasher that may be causing a "foaming" condition.

Hi Karen. Yes this is a servicable part # WP3384593. You will need to rermove the power. Use a shop vac, towels and pick tools to remove any debris or broken parts. You need to remove the wash arms so you can invert them in the sink and use the pick tools to dislodge the debris. You will use a torx type screwdriver to remove the screws to access this part. Thank You.
