Michael, When you take off the cap on the agitator there is a bolt that holds the agitator in place. You will want to make sure that this bolt is in place and tightened down. The little pieces of plastic that are broken could be the cause but the bolt is the most common.

Hello Ruby! At one time there was a filter plate under the tub however, it is no longer required by the manufacturer. They now offer a filter plug kit, part number 285868 to replace the discontinued filter. Thanks.

Joe, It "snaps" on and off the lower agitator " Manual clean lint filter (model lA6300XT) Clean the filter at the bottom of the agitator after every load for the best filtering results. To clean: 1. Lift off the agitator barrel. 2. Wash or wipe the filter clean in the bottom of the agitator barrel. The filter is not removable. 3. Replace the agitator barrel and snap it into place." Hello A.J. This model has a bolt that holds the agitator down to the transmission shaft. If the bolt isn't loose, the agitator hole in the agitator itself (being plastic) is probably wallowed out. This would require the replacement of the agitator 387838. I hope this helps and have a great day!

Hello Frank. You will need to clean the filter WP63753 about 1 time a year under normal use. If there is alot of lint, you may have to do it more often. Hope this helps.
