The Grease Filter is an OEM part for Whirlpool range hoods. This filter captures grease, smoke, and other particles generated during cooking, preventing them from settling on kitchen surfaces and ensuring the air remains clean and fresh. The filter measures approximately 18” long by 12” wide.

Causes of a bad Grease Filter include accumulation of grease and debris over time, which can lead to inefficiency in air filtration and ventilation.

Symptoms of a bad filter include:

  • Poor exhaust performance, leading to lingering odors or smoke in the kitchen
  • Visible grease buildup on the filter surface
  • Difficulty fitting the filter into its slot due to damage or deformation

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
