1 Answer Hello Stan here is the steps in replacing the outer door frame. 1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power. 2. Remove the air grille. 3. Remove the screw from the top hinge of the door. 4. Lift the door up and off the other hinge to remove the door. 5. Place the door face down on a protective surface. There are tabs on the top edge, tabs on each side and tabs on the bottom edge. 6. Use a putty knife to open the gap between the door frame and the choke(inner door liner) seal. 7. Locate each tab and use a flat blade screwdriver to gently lift the choke seal and release each tab. Place the screwdriver in the slot directly beside each tab and lift from there. 8. Only lift enough to release each tab all the way around the choke seal to avoid bending and possibly breaking the choke seal. each tab.
