Hello Jonathan, As per the tech sheet that should be located behind the kick panel in a plastic bag: CHECKING KEYPAD OPERATION ¦ Check keypad ribbon tail for broken/shorted/corroded/creased traces. ¦ Check for loose connection to control. ¦ Check for evidence of contaminants or corrosion around perimeter of the keypad, on the keypad ribbon tail and/or on the keypad connector at the control. ¦ Perform keypad function check. ¦ For a final check (if possible), try replacing control/keypad with a known good control/keypad to identify where problem(s) persist. If no connection issues are located, this usually requires replacing the User Interface WP8531262.

Rinse Only LED doesn't on nor cycle doesn't work, and it doesn't fully work on the other cycles either. when I selected Normal or Quick Clean Up...The washer starts it cycle for a few minutes of Pre Wash then it stops, I waited 20 minutes or so before opening the door, I found the Rinse Only LED on and water at the bottom of the washer. some time it drains out quite well and some time it doesn't, it just stops right there before the Rinse cycle, and I press Cancel, both Cancel and Rinse LED blink.

Tom, You most likely have a fulty keypad on the control panel WP8531262. " PROBLEM: WON’T RUN AND LED ABOVE KEY(S) IS BLINKING > Stuck key(s) or shorted circuit(s) in keypad.> Check keypad. 2. Shorted circuits or connections on the control that read the keys.> Check control.

Hello Chalie, The ribbon harness on the unit is just a slide on plug. If you grab at the connector and give good pull it should come off.

Hello Andy, Turn the power off to the unit before proceeding as 120Vac is present inside the door panel. Remove the screws on the inside of the door that attach to inner panel to the outer panel. This will allow access to the connections.

Hello Jim, Considering the symptoms, the most probable cause is the user interface WP8531262. There is the possibility of a poor electrical connection. The possibility also exists that the control could be bad, but this will be impossible to diagnose until the user interface has been replaced.
