For Whirlpool Refrigerator Door Gasket (Bisque) (Part Number: OEM18016425)

Mark, Yes, you will need to "roll" the gasket back and remove all the 1/4 in. hex head screws. Just about everyone has thier own way of doing it. Just remeber to warm the gasket before installing it on the liner, soak it in the tub with hot water. or set it out in the sunshine,if possible. Also, the screws have to be tight, but not to the point where the liner and gasket are "rippled", lubricate the hinge side of the gasket and the front flange of the cabinet with a thin coat of "vaseline" and make sure the gasket is sealed against the flange, before you do the finall torque on the liner screws. Good Luck and Thanks

Mark for Model Number Amana TSI 18A3W (P1182106WW)

Yesterday I ordered a replacement gasket for my Amana refrigerator after speaking to your sales people. They had directed me to the part (AP4013369). I was amazed when the part arrived today, but when I looked at it, it doesn't appear to be magnetic like the original one. I was told that this is not the original part but I just expected the replacement would have the magnetic strip. The reason I needed a replacement is I switched the hinges so the door opens the other way and noticed that the gasket had folded over at the bottom and was not forming a good seal (on the refrigerator door only. The freezer seems to be fine). The magnetic strip really seems to make a difference in forming a tight seal. Can you confirm that the gasket I received doesn't have a magnetic strip? Can you find out if there is a replacement gasket with the magnetic strip? Thanks, Mark

I need to replace damaged refrig door gasket. The existing gasket, when you lift from the door to reveal the securing screws on the door shelf, there appears to be a 1/16 inch raised channel all around the shelf panel edge, and the gasket has a corresponding raised lip around the entire edge and appears would secure the gasket in place. In the catalog picture, I can not see the lip around the edge of the gasket. Can you verify for me that Whirlpool part # AP4013369 is the correct replacement gasket? If not, can you suggest the correct part number.
