John, the grease filter can be reused and washed periodically with warm water and soap. However, if it needs to be replaced you'll replace it with part number W10208631A. Thanks!

Jerry H for Model Number Samsung SMH7177STE Microwave

I tried to ask samsung but they got stuck on the charcoal filter that I can figure out. What I can't figure out is how to even take the grease filters out cause there's no clear way to just "slide them out" without, it seems, dropping the bottom of the microwave. their website says "grab the tab and slide left". when i look at the bottom of the microwave that makes ZERO sense cause i can't slide it cause the side of the microwave is in the way. but i'll need (2) grease filters cause i've never cleaned them yet, a charcoal filter and a replacement underneath bulb that would shine on the stove below it. can you help me understand how to remove a simple filter and i'll buy all this from you? thanks! jerry

Jerry, To remove the grease filter you would slide the grease filter just a little from the inside to the outside of unit. Once this is done you pull down slightly on the filter and pull back inward toward the middle.
