Cr February 12, 2017 for Model Number CWE5800ACE I received the replacement hinge (item 74001856) and installed it, the old hinge had a broken spring. The new hinge fits fine but does not seem to have as strong a spring. The right (OE) hinge snaps up when moved form the lock position while the new one just slowly retracts so the door does not always fully close. Is there an adjustment or setting I'm missing or might the spring be less strong on the replacement part? Thanks!

1 Answer Allen, The hinge 74001984 is for the upper hinge and the 74001856 is the lower door hinge. These door hinges are for models that have a serial number that starts with 12 or higher. If the serial number starts with 10 or 11 then the door hinges have been discontinued with no replacement.
