Ellen November 15, 2015 for Model Number MDB7601AWB We need a longer drain hose for our dishwasher, 8-10 feet long so we can create a high loop. What part number would we order? Also if we wind up with a hose that is too long, will this be a problem for the DW to function correctly? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Ellen, This model has a 12 foot drain hose 3385556 available. There should be no problem with the excess as long as it is placed where there are no low places, (excess should be level with itself). The best case is where the excess is affixed to the bottom of the countertop with clips MA03159-1 (pkg. of 10). Read More...

Paul T July 04, 2014 for Model Number Samsung dishwasher Mod DMR78AHS/XAA I need to replace the drain hose. The distance from the washer to the disposer connection required me to use a second hose. I'd like to use one long hose to minimize my chances for a leak. Is there a hose I can use that is 10 to 12 feet long? Thanks for any help you can render. paul
1 Answer Paul, We are not showing that the manufacturer has a 10 to 12 ft hose for your unit and having the extension would be the only way to get it to work. Read More...

Drgnu October 11, 2012 for Model Number DU950PWKB1 I am seeking an armored (metal) dishwasher drain hose. We have had mice under the counters in this Victorian and they have caused major flooding on our lower level. I can't tell from the pictures if these are just 'heavy rubber' or couragated metal tubes. Your assistance most valuable! Thanks.
1 Answer Hello! Unfortunately, we do not have a listing available of a stainless or metal drain hose available. Sorry about that! Read More...
Bob October 02, 2012 for Model Number Maytag MDB4651AWB serial number starts with 37 The dishwasher was not draining properly. The flow to the drain seems to be weak and it seemed that the timer was turning off the pump before the water was gone. I checked the interior filters (Filter plate (reference 2 in the Pump and motor parts diagram) and pump filter (6) and found some soap or mineral deposits. That I removed as best I could. I also checked the rest of the interior water paths. The baffle (14) to the water pump seemed to be clear. This did not solve the problem, perhaps some of the soap/mineral crud is clogging somewhere. I have disconnected both ends of the drain hose (Item Number: AP4114287 Manufacturer's Number: 99002652) and tried to pour water through it. It did not flow easily, but with significant effort I was able to blow water through. Is that normal or is there a problem with the hose? If I have to check the pump further, do I need to remove the dishwasher from under the counter to reach it? Thanks, Bob
1 Answer Bob, It sounds like you may have a restricted or kinked drain hose WP99002652, You may have to remove the dishwasher to check ? Based on your post that's the most likely issue. Your drain pump [AP4364233} is located in the right rear corner of the dishwasher and can be removed without disturbing the dishwasher, but it can be a "tight" squeeze. You may wan to remove it and check the impeller for damage. Read More...
