Roy Boy May 04, 2012 for Model Number rtw4100wq1 Turn on washer water leaks when filling up on floor.
1 Answer Hello Roy boy. Check and see if the water is leaking out of the pump WPW10288040 located on the front of the motor. You can lean the machine backwards and check this. Also, check the tub to pump hose and the drain hose for holes and see if they are leaking. Read More...
Jess March 22, 2012 for Model Number LCR7244DQ3 Hello. My roommate and I recently acquired this washer from a friend who was moving. It worked fine until the fifth load when the water would not stop filling and flooded the apartment. After some research, I determined that the problem was most likely the pressure switch. I ordered the part from your website and replaced the switch. I ran an empty load and everything worked great. On the next load, however, my roommate experienced a second flood when the long hose from the tub to the hole that goes to the secondary pressure switch hose became disconnected. We tried the cheap fix and ductaped the hose back on only to have the apartment flood even worse. Can this problem be fixed with a new hose (the long one from the tub to the hole to the pressure switch?) Or, should we try a hose clamp? Is it possible that the hose became disconnected from some sort of clip on the side of the tub? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jess. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the pressure switch hose WP353244 is bad and will need to be replaced. Also make sure the air dome assembly is good on the side of the outer tub where it hooks up. Hope this helps. Read More...

John September 05, 2011 for Model Number wtw5820swo waterlevel wont stop filling and change to wash cycle...water level tube not in clip on side of drum...will that cause the problem?
1 Answer John, The air dome hose being detached from the clip, does not cause a fill problem, You do want to check the hose for pin holes, clogs and kinks. You also want to reattch the hose once you've checked it. Heres another quick check : while the washer is filling for a cycle, unplug the power cord, if the washer stops filling, and the air dome hose is OK, you'd have a bad water level switch W10339251 . If you unplug the cord, and it continues to fill you'd have a bad water inlet fill valve WP3979346. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
