Roberta May 18, 2023 for Model Number JS42PPDUDB16 Ice maker was no longer completing a cycle, it does have ice in the mold but doesn't enject it. Is this a cycling thermostat issue or does this require a new ice maker? The temperature is like 3 degrees per the thermometer reading.

Akbar February 18, 2020 for Model Number KSSS42QMB00 Purchased the replacement icemaker for my built in fridge (KSSS42QMB00). IceMaker; Model WPW10277448. But, when I went to disconnect the old icemaker, I found not only the standard wire harness', in our model there is also a separate white wire (apparently live) that appears to be hard-wired into the ice maker itself (not a plug-in harness type connection). My question is this: How do I unplug the white wire from the old icemaker and install the new icemaker that does not have a separate white-live-wire? Any and all help will be appreciated more than I can tell you
1 Answer Hello Akbar, the white wire was is a neutral wire for the ice maker water fill tube heater. The replacement ice maker does not use this feature. The ice maker and the fill tube heater shared the same white neutral circuit. Read More...
