Akbar for Model Number KSSS42QMB00 Purchased the replacement icemaker for my built in fridge (KSSS42QMB00). IceMaker; Model WPW10277448. But, when I went to disconnect the old icemaker, I found not only the standard wire harness', in our model there is also a separate white wire (apparently live) that appears to be hard-wired into the ice maker itself (not a plug-in harness type connection). My question is this: How do I unplug the white wire from the old icemaker and install the new icemaker that does not have a separate white-live-wire? Any and all help will be appreciated more than I can tell you
Answer Hello Akbar, the white wire was is a neutral wire for the ice maker water fill tube heater. The replacement ice maker does not use this feature.
