Bubba for Model Number KitchenAid Built-In Refrigerator Model KSSC42QMS00 and Replacement IceMaker; Model W10277448 Purchased the replacement icemaker for my built in fridge (KSSC42QMS00). IceMaker; Model W10277448. But, when I went to disconnect the old icemaker, I found not only the standard wire harness', in our model there is also a separate white wire (apparently live) that appears to be hard-wired into the ice maker itself (not a plug-in harness type connection). My question is this: How do I unplug the white wire from the old icemaker and install the new icemaker that does not have a separate white-live-wire? Any and all help will be appreciated more than I can tell you. Bubba
Answer Hello Bubba. Remove the white cover from the icemaker. There is a locking tab on the left side. Press in on the locking tab to release the harness from the module head. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 8, 2014
