1 Answer Judy, Are you sure there are no Odors in the freezer or fresh food compartments ? Odors can transfer to the ice cubes and you can taste it in the cubes. Your refrigerator does not have a factory water filter sytem. Rick May 01, 2012 I have a fridgidaire aire side by side and when I try to get ice it takes a long time any suggestions also I just replaced the blade housing on the ice dispenser.
1 Answer Rick, A couple of things to check, make sure the cube housing is installed on the auger shaft properly, and the blade is secured to the shaft and housing as well. Make sure the ice cubes are not to large for the opening in the housing, and you have plenty of ice and that the cubes are nor stuck together.
