Mike December 13, 2016 for Model Number MVWX700XW0 Sometimes the washer starts and goes through the normal cycle. Usually it makes it through to spin then fails with lights blinking, if you unplug and plug in it will usually finish. Or you can switch to drain and spin and finish. Many times it will lock and spin a bit and unlock or just make a humming sound and and unlock then the lock will flash and the yellow light under it, Unplug and plug and it will usually resume the cycle. Lately it will just click and lock and unlock after and bit all flashing. I intend to try to get into the diagnosis mode to see if it will give us any diagnostic numbers. From reading this forum not sure if switch or actuator or maybe because of the humming noise the clutch.
1 Answer Mike, It would be best to put into a diagnostic mode and see if there are any error codes showing. If there are follow the steps listed for that code. It is very possible for this to be a shift actuator issue. Read More...

Shennon November 29, 2016 for Model Number mvwc450xw1 My washer starts to go into the spin cycle but then stops when it requires spinning, it appears to weigh the material but when it clicks to start the spin cycle it clicks off. I have replaced the lid latch assy but it still is acting up and wont spin what else could it be the actuator?
1 Answer Hello Shennon. You will need to check the shift actuator and the cams and pulley under the bottom of the unit. Either could cause this issue. Read More...
Lynn B November 14, 2016 for Model Number WTW4950XW3 Washer lid lock light not on all the time. Takes a long time "sensing" and will stop during "rinse" and "spin" modes. I have to catch it an push the start button to get it going again. If not caught at right times I always have to do a "drain & spin" cycle and clothes still wetter than normal. Would the lid latch assembly fix this problem?
1 Answer Lynn, Yes with the issue that you are having with the unit not showing the lid locked then it would most likely be the lid latch assembly that is faulty. Read More...
