Jon C June 13, 2017 for Model Number MDE5500AYW My control panel has what appears 4 compaciters that look burned, they are in right upper top of electronic board, tthey are tan with gold brown red silver stripe. and a celinode looking thing that is loose with corrosion ( there are two, the other one looks fine. Is this a replaceable or repairable panel worth the cost?? I found them $151.00 to $195.00. What's my alternatives?

Barb March 09, 2017 for Model Number Kenmore Auto Sensing 110-78002011 My dryer turns on but does not run. It will go back and forth between cycles when this happens. There are no error codes only the beep of the dryer turning itself on. Could this be a timer or the LED assembly gone bad? It moves between bulky and normal cycle on it's own.

Ran thru all diagnostics and keypad test was all OK and no diag codes were in memory. 1 Answer Steve, You will want to check the ventalation system of your unit from the blower wheel to the outside of your home to ensure that the venting is clean and clear. This is in a lot of cases the cause for the unit to not heat properly. If this checks ok then you will want to check the wiring to the sensor bars and make sure that the wiring is good. J. Jennings August 17, 2015 for Model Number HDE5500AYW Serial #72499295je. My question is almost the same as the gas dryer question but my dryer is electric and my model # starts with hde. Original code is #8 (sticking button?) and later only 00 will show. Chirping, nonresponsive buttons when pushed; intermittently works and not works. Console is sealed but once taken off dryer and then replaced; it m-i-g-h-t work until it happens all over again. I would like to make my console operate normally without replacing it if possible but if not, what part should I get? Also, what is difference between hde and mde?
