  • Loose baffles may rattle or snag items during cycles
  • Restores proper drum agitation and fabric movement
What's included: One drum baffle Install notes:
  • Unplug washer and turn off water before servicing
  • Access is typically from inside the drum; rotate drum to align and release/secure the baffle
  • Reuse existing hardware if no new fasteners are provided

Tom, To get to the screw you would need to pull the tub out and when you look into the large drain opening you may be able to access that screw. If you cannot get to it this way then you will have to take the tub assembly apart to get to it. You should be able to use the same screw that was in the original baffle.

Hello Alice. Remove the top off the washer and there is a black hose in the top of the outer tub. You will remove this hose and see if you can access the baffle screw. If so, you can remove the screw, and the baffle WP8540360 will slide out of the tub assembly. If not, you will need to remove the tub assembly from the unit, and separate the two halves to access the screw and change the baffle. Hope this helps.
