Sam, It would be suggested to check to make sure that there is not a voltage issue to the light bulb. Also make sure that the light is tight and make sure that there is no loose connection at the socket.

John, Check the oven light receptacle, make sure it's not too loose in the oven cavity. make sure you use a brass based 40 watt appliance bulb or the 8009 light bulb, apply a thin coat of dielectric grease to the threads of the bulb, and the glass lens cover, and dont overtighten the bulb in the receptacle.

Guy, The Light lens should just unscrew. You may need to get something to grip the lens to get it to twist off.

Hello Marilyn, If the configuration you have is similar to the parts diagram under the part, you compress the light lens top to bottom to release the plastic tabs and unscrew the old bulb for replacement. If it is not the same as the parts diagram under the part you were viewing we will need the model number from the unit to give specific information on the unit in your home.
