For Whirlpool Appliance Light Bulb (Part Number: OEM10821660)

1 Answer

Bonnie, based on the manufacturer schematics, there should only be a wire bail WB2K27 holding the glass lens WB36X192 in place and it would need to be removed to change out the bulb 8009.

Sam, if there is not a bent section of the door or a missing screw, the door hinges WB50T10076 would be the cause of failure. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued this part and it is no longer available.

Brian for Model Number Fridgidaire RBE-94

I’m having trouble finding how-to video for replacing light switch on a wall oven, specifically Fridgidaire Deluxe RBE94. I don’t like to start a first time repair (even simple component replacement) without at least a general idea of how involved it will be. Having said that, the vids I saw are for wall ovens. So once I cut the power , how do I gain access to the switch. Hopefully not removing from the wall. I see 4 corner screws once I open the door, and no other ways to access the back of switch. The range light switch access is so simple, but doesn’t help me with my wall oven. RBE94, oven door Light switch in top right corner crumbled. Need help gaining access to remove and install switch

Brian, the door switch 5301314211 should be able to pull forward without having to remove the trim above the oven cavity. There will be enough wire slack to be able to pull the switch out completely. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer provided.

It is hard to advise without a model number but many units do require the cover to be unscrewed.

AnnieMoo, unfortunately, we would not be able to recommend a part without the model number as there are many designs used with microwaves.
