Bonnie H. August 03, 2024 for Model Number JGB650DEF1WW Accessing and replacing oven light bulb. It has a wire protection grid covering the bulb it seems as tho I must remove this protection to get to the bulb. Thanks
1 Answer Bonnie, based on the manufacturer schematics, there should only be a wire bail WB2K27 holding the glass lens WB36X192 in place and it would need to be removed to change out the bulb 8009. Read More...
Sam February 23, 2024 for Model Number JGS968SOH3SS The oven door on my GE Profile range doesn't close all the way. It will close far enough to work properly, but some heat is escaping. Is there an adjustment I can make to fix this or will the hinges need to be replaced? Thanks, Sam
1 Answer Sam, if there is not a bent section of the door or a missing screw, the door hinges WB50T10076 would be the cause of failure. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued this part and it is no longer available. Read More...
1 Answer Marianne, the light bulb lens cover will unscrew from the housing, allowing the light bulb 8009 to be accessed for replacement. Read More...

Brian January 02, 2023 for Model Number Fridgidaire RBE-94 I’m having trouble finding how-to video for replacing light switch on a wall oven, specifically Fridgidaire Deluxe RBE94. I don’t like to start a first time repair (even simple component replacement) without at least a general idea of how involved it will be. Having said that, the vids I saw are for wall ovens. So once I cut the power , how do I gain access to the switch. Hopefully not removing from the wall. I see 4 corner screws once I open the door, and no other ways to access the back of switch. The range light switch access is so simple, but doesn’t help me with my wall oven. RBE94, oven door Light switch in top right corner crumbled. Need help gaining access to remove and install switch
1 Answer Brian, the door switch 5301314211 should be able to pull forward without having to remove the trim above the oven cavity. There will be enough wire slack to be able to pull the switch out completely. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer provided. Read More...

Anniemoo June 12, 2022 I have an older model Whirlpool microwave/vent fan system and the bulb needs to be replaced. The current bulb is KEI 125v 30w. When I went to my local hardware store, I was only able to find 125v 40w bulb that looked exactly like the current but it wouldn't work. It's not the socket because I put the working bulb in there and it did work. I tried to locate the model number of my unit but because of it's age it is faded. Thank you!
1 Answer AnnieMoo, unfortunately, we would not be able to recommend a part without the model number as there are many designs used with microwaves. Read More...
