Hello G.T., You are correct. The factory bulb 8206232A is a dual element, which enables two circuits to operate independently for high and low intensity light settings. A single element bulb will not operate properly.

Alice, Yes there are more than one type of cooktop light for your microwave. Based on several parts distributor sites and the manufacturer's parts dept. the correct cooktop light for your microwave is 8206232A / 8206232A . Please remember to remove power to the microwave before you change the bulb. Be careful and try not to damage the light receptacle.

Need Light, You will want to test the socket to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to them. If there is then try to tighten the bulbs just a little bit more and see if they come on. If there is not then the issue would most likely be with the control board not sending power to the sockets.
