Michael Noonan for Model Number 5KSM150PSEER4 (European 240volt version)

My Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer, Model No. 5KSM150PSEER4 (220-240 V European version) operates such that, even after what adjustment that I can make, the lowest speed setting - settings 1 - results in a mixing speed that is about twice what it should be, while top speeds, while fast, hardly vary at all beyond speed setting 6 (i.e., after speed setting 6, there is no noticable speed increase). All speed adjustments were made with no load. What is the likely cause (and remedy?). Other than that it seems to operate and sound normal. Thanking you in anticipation.

Jack, A model number would be a big assist, we would be able to check and verify our recommendation(s). Based on the information you supplied, you most likely have a malfunction in the control panel / keypad assembly. But we can't be positively sure without the model number. Thanks
