For Whirlpool Motor Start Switch (Part Number: OEM18038667)

Roger P. for Model Number KAWS750JQ4

My Kitchenaid washer had been performing totally normal. I started this last load and it ran all the way through the wash cycle. At the point where it was supposed to pump out and go to the rinse cycle it stopped, did not pump out at all and would not proceed any further. If I advanced it to the rinse setting, the agitator started again until then end of the rinse cycle, then again stopped and would not pump out. If I advanced it to any of the spin settings, it would not spin, presumably because the pump cycle had failed. Please advise as to the potential probems. Thanks.

Hello Tim. You will need to test and see if your getting voltage to the water valve. Also try it on different water temperature settings and see if it works. You can ohm out the water valve 285805 each solenoid should read 800-1200 ohms. Hope this helps.
