Eric April 02, 2021 for Model Number WRS571CIDM01 Ice maker works and fills bucket, but ice won’t dispense. The door opens when the paddle is depressed, but auger does not turn. Replaced auger motor, same result. Is there a switch that turns on the auger motor?
1 Answer Eric, it would be recommended that the wires of the door hinge are inspected to identify if there is a broken wire. If not, the next step would be to test the main control W11035841 for voltage output at the connection P3 when the ice dispenser paddle is activated. The gray wire would be tested to the blue wire using a multimeter set to DC voltage and there should be 120VDC. Steve April 22, 2015 for Model Number GSF26C4EXY02 When I depress the lever (pad) to dispense water, I sometimes have to press it at various angles. The water will often start then stop. It sometimes takes it a few pushes to get the water to flow in a solid stream. It's like the pad doesn't contact the button within at times. Do I need a new actuator pad? Thanks.
