The outer door is black with controls accessible on the outside top of the door when the door is closed. In other words, you can see the controls and vent on the top 4 1/2 inches of the door. Our dishwasker is fairly new and I would like to change the panel from black to SS. This part looks like it will do the trick. My question is two fold. One will this part work to change the panel from black to SS (not interested in changing the control) and two is the swap a relatively easy? Looks like removing some torx screws and replacing.
