Stacey, The Control panel 6-917713 comes with the panel itself and the membrane switch/keypad. All other electronic components would be separate.

Hello David, This is a bad control panel 6-917713. The rinse cycle is 9 minutes long. When this occurs, the rinse button has collapsed and is making as though it were being pushed. You do not need the control board.

Hello Evan. You need to check and see if the ribbon cable is plugged into the control board good. If not, it will cause the issue you are having with the display on the control panel 6-917713.

Our LED display will flash "9" and no wash cycle will work. When unplugged for 10 mins., then sometimes the cycles will work normally, but NEVER just the rinse cycle alone - assuming we just needed it. Also, the 3 remaining wash cycles, sometimes for ex., the Normal wash button or Auto-clean button will flash during their cycle. But sometimes, regardless of which wash cycle button is pushed, it goes right to the rinse cycle and shuts off. Other times, when using the Normal or Auto-clean, it will start out as "2H" and then w/in mins., goes to rinse cycle and then starts all over again. I replaced the circuit panel a yr. ago, plus this last Oct. put in a new water pump and impeller. Should we replace and buy new? If new, what Brand and model(S) would you recommend? Granted this is a 9 yr. old unit - we hate this throw-away society. We appreciate any help you can give us.

Evan, You'll need to repalce the control panel/keypad assembly 6-917713. The rinse key is collapsing and selecting the rinse cycle, or the tracer ribbons have deteriorated. You're about halfway through the normal life expectancy of a MTG dishwasher, and with the repairs you've made previously, it may be worth one more. Thanks

Can you give me a step by step to remove and replace the control panel? My current panel is working fine but the plastic broke out around the door latch and left a gaping place where the latch snaps down when locked. I guess I have to replace the whole panel? If so I can order in bisque but would like to consider steps to replace. I have already once replaced the door latch so I am acquainted with the loosening of the back panel. What is involved in connecting the various controls of the panel electrically? Is is as simple as the door latch was? Guidance will be appreciated.
