1 Answer Hello J.R., If you are getting voltage through the door switches to the control, either the control has failed or the control panel connection or the part itself has failed. Read More...

Tim March 28, 2015 for Model Number maytag mdb7601awb Hi, our dishwasher leaves dirt sediment on the dishes (mostly at the bottom of glasses). we've cleaned out the ports on the spinners, we've cleaned out a lot of sediment. Also the control panel doesn't work but it still runs the normal cycle. what do you think is causing the sediment to remain? Thanks, Tim
1 Answer Tim, Most likely the dirt sediment that you are seeing would actually be caused by detergent that is not completely dissolved. Make sure that you are running hot water at your sink prior to running the dishwasher. Make sure that the water temperature is a minimum of 120 degrees and make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump assembly. Read More...

John E. January 04, 2014 for Model Number Mdb9601aws Control panel or Control board? Numbers on panel aren't legible, and will not start, just blinks/flashes but never starts.
1 Answer John, Start with the control panel 6-919825. The control panel is more susceptible to errors due to usage and environment. The LED's and display are embedded in the panel as well as the key pad circuits. There should be a tech data sheet attached to the back of the lower kick plate on the dishwasher. If you access the data information, you can circuit test each of the key pad circuits using a multi meter and verify the damaged circuits if you wish. Read More...
Rick October 24, 2013 for Model Number MDB7601AWS We are having issues with our May Tag MDB7601AWS d/w. We ordered a new control panel thinking that the issue was in the control panel. I think the issue is in the board instead of the control panel. The ribbons appear not to be damaged but might be a little dirty. Can they be cleaned and with what? I am hoping that I can save my existing control panel and only get a new board. Thank you in advance, Rick
