Jeffrey January 25, 2019 for Model Number WSF26C2EXY02 I have a whirlpool refrigerator model number wsf26c2exy02. I'm looking for a bypass plug. I want water to come out of the fridge, I just don't need the filtered water any longer as I have a whole house water filtration system that will produce cleaner water than the filter. Thanks Jeff
1 Answer Jeffrey, there is not a bypass for this model as there is none needed. If you remove the filter, there is a bypass built into the housing assembly. Read More...

Javas G. December 14, 2018 for Model Number ED5FHEXVS00 I do not wish to use the filter on my refrigerator. Is there a way to bypass the filter?

Sue December 01, 2018 for Model Number Wrf736SDAW14 I replaced the water filter and the dispenser makes a fluttering noise like when there isn't a filter in it. It sounds like something is working too hard. It also dispenses water very quickly. When I put the old filter back in, it doesn't make that noise. I tried 2 new filters and they both do it. Are the filters bad or am I putting the filter in wrong? Can I use a bypass plug? Thanks
1 Answer Sue, This issue would be more likely that the filter head is faulty and there is no bypass plug for this unit. Read More...

1 Answer Musmeg, No you do not need a bypass plug for the WRS325FDAM04. Remove the filter dry up any water spillage, or residual water in the housing and close and "snap" the filter door shut. John November 08, 2018 for Model Number WRF736SDAM13 Will this unit work without the filter in and does the red light go off. is it best to use a bypass plug for this unit and if so does it turn the light off. And I am finding 2 different types of bypass plugs. Which is the correct one for this unit.
1 Answer John, This unit does not dispense the water without the filter. There is a filter reset on your user interface and I believe its the last button on the right press and hold until it counts down and it resets. Also, this unit does not use a bypass plug. Read More...
