Guest March 16, 2011 Rob again, I just replaced the AP4071513 water valve (icemaker)with one supplied by your company. Is this the valve your are referring to or is there another? Also, did not get an answer for part of my question on how the ice build up on the ejector fingers is formed thus inhibiting correct ice making function. Thanks again.

Rob March 15, 2011 for Model Number MSD2433 The ice maker ejector fingers have ice build up at their ends, which prevents the ejector from continuing its cycle of ejecting the next batch of cubes (the ejector stops rotating). If I gently push the ejector fingers it will break off the ice build up and the ejector continues to rotate on its own. Also, the ice cubes produced are not fully formed. What is causing this problem? Thanks.
