If you could give me more info on just the led I would be very grateful. I'm on a retirement income, and the thought of buying a set of boards for $90.+ when all it may need is a $2 led is hard to swallow.

Terry March 23, 2011 for Model Number Amana m/n SQD25 NBW The icemaker will operate for a short period & then won't run again until it wants to. It will not fill the ice bin before it stops. Twice I took it out & everything looked normal. When I reinstalled it, it would work good for a short period & then stop.

1 Answer Hello Robert! If you have already replaced the valve and you are still not getting water to the ice maker make sure that the ice maker fill tube line has not frozen or developed any leaks. Tony March 21, 2011 for Model Number Maytag MBL2562HES I have a Maytag MBL2562HES refrigerator and am having a problem with the ice maker. For the past few months months, the rotating arm on the ice maker was constantly freezing in place and would require some easy prying with a knife to work again. The cubes that formed were very thin and brittle. Eventually, the incoming water tube froze. I cleaned out the incoming tube, hoping that may have been the problem, but no luck. Is there a way to test the ice maker to see if it is malfunctioning?

John March 21, 2011 My maytag side by side has a noise coming from the icemaker. When the door is open it stops. It is not steady. There is a square plastic box i think is causing the noise.
