Robert P April 20, 2013 for Model Number ymedb400vq0 My Maytag bravos dryer is very noisy and vibrates. I have replaced the idler pulley but still have the vibration & noise. It is not the lint blower. Would a repair kit with new rollers be the answer? The dryer is less than two years old and there are only two people in our home.

Dudley April 07, 2013 for Model Number sde4606ayw Maytag modle sde4606ayw. Drum is not turning properly &clumps cloths together. If we lessen the load to about 1/2 the norm it will work i have already replaced the belt. Should i replace only the rear drum rollers or is there a kit for axel & roller replacement all @ once? Also I see there is a front roller should it be replaced as well?
1 Answer Dudley, the rollers aren't going to be the issue, unless they make nosie, Youmamy want to check, clean, and lubriacte the shaft and roller bearings. You do want to check the tumbler RPM, place a piece of tape on the end of one of the baffles, select air dry/fluff and hold the door switch closed and start the dryer The drum should rotate at 50 RPM(+/- 2) If the RPM is in range, you'll need to review the loading instructions for the dryer, and / or install a Baffle Kit 12002559 to reduce the bunching up of the articles.
